Paul Kitcatt and Lazar Dzamic

We are two ex-admen with decades of experience, now committed to using our powers to improve our societies and save the planet – and aiming to persuade you to do so too. We were part of that special caste we call the Mythocrats. We’ve seen the wrongs of our industry’s ways and want to call them out.

Paul was an award-winning Chief Creative Officer, master copywriter and a former partner at Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw (later acquired by Publicis and renamed as Kitcatt Nohr Digitas), one of the most lauded independent integrated agencies in the UK. It was named The Agency of the Year in its sector several times.

Paul is now a creative consultant, a novelist and runs his podcast ‘168 things’. This is his Linked In profile.

Lazar is the former Head of Brand Planning at Google’s exclusive creative think-tank the ZOO in London (NACE), where his clients were some of the world’s biggest CMOs, brand directors and world’s leading agencies. Before that, he was the Planning Director at Kitcatt Nohr and Paul’s partner in crime there.

Lazar is now an Associate Professor and Lecturer in digital and traditional marketing at several MBA programmes and universities in Europe: Business School Lausanne (BSL), School of Economics and Business in Ljubljana and Faculty for Media and Communications in Belgrade. This is his Linked In profile.

We both passionately believe that advertising is now part of our global societal and ecological nightmare and that it requires actions from people WITHIN the industry (not just enlightened journalists or academics) in order to become more of a force for good. This blog and initiative is the result of our belief.
